We are beyond excited to kick off our Read-a-thon fundraiser and celebration of reading! On Monday, March 2nd, we will begin with a Read-In—a special day dedicated to cozy reading, literacy activities, and celebrating the joy of books. Students are welcome to wear pajamas, bring a stuffed "reading pal," and enjoy dedicated time to read and engage with fun literacy experiences throughout the day. We will also be launching Spirit Week to build excitement as we embark on the next two weeks of reading fun and fundraising!
Be on the lookout for a flyer coming home and being shared digitally this Friday with directions on how to register your student for the Read-a-thon. Registration takes just two minutes and will allow your child to fully participate in all the reading activities and incentives we have planned.
Additionally, we will soon be sharing a sign-up for Mystery Readers—a beloved opportunity for community members and families to surprise our students and read aloud to classes. We are thrilled for the weeks ahead and grateful for your partnership in making this a memorable and joyful celebration of reading!
